3. Custom-Made Products Notice

IMPORTANT: All our abayas are custom-made to order based on your specific measurements and design preferences. Each piece is uniquely crafted for you and cannot be resold or returned unless there is a manufacturing defect or error on our part.

Please ensure all measurements and specifications are accurate before placing your order, as we begin production immediately upon order confirmation and payment.

4. Processing Time

4.1 Production Time

Since all our products are custom-made, production time varies based on the complexity of the design:

  • Simple Designs: 10-14 business days
  • Standard Designs: 12-17 business days
  • Complex/Embellished Designs: 15-20 business days
  • Bridal or Special Occasion: 20-25 business days

Production time begins after:

  • Order confirmation
  • Full payment received
  • Measurements verified (if required)
  • Design specifications approved

4.2 Order Confirmation

Once you place an order, you will receive:

  1. Immediate order acknowledgment email
  2. Order confirmation email within 24 hours
  3. Production start notification
  4. Regular updates throughout the creation process
  5. Completion and shipping notification

4.3 Rush Orders

Express production may be available for an additional fee, subject to our current workload and design complexity. Please contact us at contact@bayarive.com to inquire about rush order availability.

Rush fees:

  • 7-day production: +50% of product price
  • 5-day production: +75% of product price (subject to availability)

5. Shipping Destinations

5.1 Domestic Shipping (UAE)

We deliver to all seven emirates:

  • Abu Dhabi
  • Dubai
  • Sharjah
  • Ajman
  • Umm Al Quwain
  • Ras Al Khaimah
  • Fujairah

5.2 International Shipping

We ship to select international destinations including:

  • GCC Countries: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman
  • Middle East: Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt
  • Europe: UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium (and other EU countries)
  • North America: USA, Canada
  • Other regions: Contact us for availability

For countries not listed, please contact us at contact@bayarive.com to check if we can ship to your location.

6. Shipping Methods and Delivery Times

6.1 UAE Delivery

Courier Partners: Aramex, Emirates Post, or similar trusted carriers

  • Standard Delivery: 5-7 business days after dispatch
  • Express Delivery: 3-5 business days after dispatch (additional fee applies)
  • Same-Day Delivery: Available in Dubai and Sharjah for orders dispatched before 12 PM (additional fee applies)

6.2 GCC Countries

Courier Partners: DHL, Aramex, FedEx

  • Standard Delivery: 7-10 business days after dispatch
  • Express Delivery: 3-6 business days after dispatch

7. Shipping Costs

7.1 UAE Shipping

  • Free Standard Shipping: On all orders (no minimum)
  • Express Delivery: AED 45
  • Same-Day Delivery: AED 105 (Dubai/Sharjah only)

7.2 GCC Countries

  • Standard Shipping: AED 45
  • Express Shipping: AED 105 

Exact shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and weight.

7.4 Additional Costs

Important: International customers are responsible for:

  • Customs duties and taxes
  • Import fees
  • Any other charges imposed by your country

These fees are NOT included in our shipping costs and vary by country. Please check with your local customs office for estimated costs.

8. Order Tracking

8.1 Tracking Information

Once your custom abaya is completed and shipped, you will receive:

  • Shipping confirmation email
  • Tracking number
  • Carrier information
  • Estimated delivery date

8.2 Track Your Order

You can track your order by:

  1. Using the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email
  2. Visiting the carrier's website and entering your tracking number
  3. Logging into your Baya Rive account and checking order status
  4. Contacting our customer service team

9. Delivery Process

9.1 Delivery Requirements

  • A valid delivery address must be provided at checkout
  • Someone must be available to receive the package
  • A signature may be required upon delivery
  • Photo ID may be requested by the courier

9.2 Failed Delivery Attempts

If delivery fails due to:

  • Recipient unavailable: Courier will leave a notice and attempt redelivery
  • Incorrect address provided by customer: Additional shipping fees will apply for reshipment
  • Customer refuses delivery: Return shipping costs and a 20% restocking fee will be charged (custom items cannot be restocked, so the full amount minus shipping may be forfeited)

9.3 Package Inspection

We strongly recommend that you:

  1. Inspect the package upon delivery in front of the courier
  2. Check for any visible damage to the packaging
  3. Report any damage immediately to the courier and to us
  4. Take photos if the package appears damaged
  5. Do not accept a severely damaged package

10. Packaging

All our abayas are carefully packaged to ensure they arrive in perfect condition:

  • Premium branded packaging
  • Protective wrapping to prevent wrinkles
  • Tissue paper and elegant presentation
  • Care instructions included
  • Secure outer shipping box

For gift orders, we offer complimentary gift wrapping upon request. Please indicate this at checkout.

11. Shipping Issues and Solutions

11.1 Delayed Shipments

If your order is delayed beyond the estimated delivery date:

  1. Check the tracking information for updates
  2. Contact the shipping carrier directly
  3. Contact us at contact@bayarive.com
  4. We will investigate and provide assistance

Common delay reasons:

  • Customs clearance (international orders)
  • Weather conditions
  • Public holidays
  • Remote delivery locations
  • Courier delays beyond our control

11.2 Lost or Missing Packages

If your package is marked as delivered but you haven't received it:

  1. Check with neighbors or building security
  2. Verify the delivery address in your order confirmation
  3. Check all possible delivery locations at your address
  4. Wait 24 hours (sometimes marked delivered early)
  5. Contact us within 48 hours

We will initiate an investigation with the carrier. If the package is confirmed lost, we will:

  • File a claim with the shipping carrier
  • Remake your custom abaya at no additional cost, or
  • Provide a full refund

11.3 Damaged During Shipping

If your abaya arrives damaged:

  1. Document the damage with clear photos
  2. Keep all original packaging
  3. Contact us within 48 hours at contact@bayarive.com
  4. Provide your order number and photos

We will:

  • Assess the damage from photos
  • Arrange for return shipping (at our cost)
  • Repair the item if possible, or
  • Remake a new custom abaya for you, or
  • Provide a full refund

12. Address Changes

12.1 Before Shipment

You can change your delivery address by contacting us at contact@bayarive.com before your order is shipped. There is no charge for address changes before shipment.

12.2 After Shipment

Once shipped, address changes are more difficult but may be possible:

  • Contact us immediately
  • We will attempt to redirect with the carrier
  • Additional fees may apply (charged by carrier)
  • Success is not guaranteed once package is in transit

13. Returns and Exchanges Policy

13.1 No Returns on Custom-Made Items

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Since all our abayas are custom-made specifically to your measurements and design preferences, we DO NOT accept returns or exchanges under normal circumstances.

Each abaya is uniquely created for you and cannot be resold to another customer.

13.2 Exceptions - We Will Accept Returns For:

  • Manufacturing Defects: Faulty stitching, fabric defects, or quality issues
  • Our Measurement Errors: If we made an error in cutting or construction based on your provided measurements
  • Wrong Item Sent: If we shipped the wrong design or color
  • Damaged During Shipping: Damage that occurred during transit

13.3 NOT Eligible for Return:

  • Change of mind
  • Incorrect measurements provided by customer
  • Color looks different than on screen (natural variation)
  • Style doesn't suit you as expected
  • Fabric feels different than imagined
  • Normal minor variations in handcrafted items

13.4 Return Process (For Eligible Cases Only)

If you believe your item qualifies for return:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of receiving the item
  2. Email contact@bayarive.com with:
    • Order number
    • Clear photos of the issue
    • Detailed description of the problem
  3. Wait for our response and return authorization
  4. Do NOT send the item back without our approval
  5. We will review your case within 24-48 hours

13.5 Our Guarantee

If the issue is due to our error, we will:

  • Arrange free return shipping
  • Remake the abaya correctly at no cost, or
  • Provide a full refund including original shipping costs

14. Pre-Order Verification

To ensure your complete satisfaction and avoid any issues, we offer:

14.1 Measurement Verification

  • Detailed measurement guides on our website
  • Video tutorials for accurate measuring
  • Free virtual consultation to verify measurements
  • Measurement confirmation before cutting fabric

14.2 Design Confirmation

  • Design mockup approval (for complex designs)
  • Fabric swatch samples available upon request
  • Color confirmation photos
  • Final approval before production completion

15. Order Cancellation

15.1 Before Production Starts

You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it for a full refund, provided we haven't started cutting the fabric.

15.2 After Production Starts

Once we've started creating your custom abaya:

  • Fabric not yet cut: 50% refund of order value
  • Fabric cut but not assembled: 25% refund of order value
  • Assembly started: No refund (item is custom-made for you)
